Media Studies: "Pot Luck" - Definition 'Title Card'

In our final storyline there is reference to the idea of showing the title of our film during the introduction. This led to the concept of creating a title card similar to that of 'Pulp Fiction'.

The film Pulp Fiction, Directed by Quentin Tarintino had a big influence on our Title Sequence, The simplicity of the now iconic title card is what drew us to try and reflect this in our own film. The title features a black screen, annotated with white text, defining the word pulp in the style of a dictionary. Below is how this is shown within the film Pulp Fiction with a direct comparison below of our own interpretation of this:

We created a SlideShare that gives an example of how the title card will work in motion during Pot Luck, the first shot will be of a black screen, this will switch to an immidiate transaction of the title of our film 'Pot Luck', with the final transition being the definition of the phrase. This is what we have decided our title sequence will look like.
